For Facilities

Listing Terms for Treatment Facilities

These terms apply when you claim a treatment facility's listing on rehab.help or add to it. By submitting a claim or an update, you agree to them and to the site's terms of use.

Effective October 29, 2026Applies to rehab.help

Who May Claim a Listing

You may claim a listing only if you work for that facility and have its permission to manage how it is described online. You must give your real name, role, a work email and a phone number. Rehab Help may confirm a claim by email code, by calling the facility's listed phone number or by other reasonable checks, and may refuse or withdraw a claim it can't confirm. Making a false claim ends your access and may be reported.

What Stays as Published by SAMHSA

The facility's name, address, phone number, services, payment options, medication treatment and licensing on Rehab Help come from SAMHSA's FindTreatment.gov. Claiming a listing doesn't change them. To correct them, contact SAMHSA's Behavioral Health Services Information System at 1-833-888-1553; the change appears here after SAMHSA publishes it and the site next refreshes its copy.

What You May Add

A description, opening and admissions hours, programs and specialties, your clinical team, insurance and payment notes, languages, the facility's website and phone number, up to 10 photos and up to 3 YouTube or Vimeo videos. What you add appears on your listing marked as provided by the facility.

What Isn't Allowed

  • Success, sobriety, recovery, completion or cure rates, or any promise of a result.
  • Testimonials, reviews or stories about patients or clients, and any photo that identifies a patient or client.
  • Claims to be the best, the top or number one, or guarantees of any kind.
  • Offers of free travel, housing, gifts or anything else of value to get someone to enter treatment.
  • Call-center, tracked or referral phone numbers in place of the facility's own, and crisis or helpline numbers presented as a substitute for 988 or 911.
  • Links inside text, or links to any site other than the facility's own.
  • Anything false or misleading, or anything you don't have the right to publish, including photos and videos you didn't make or license.

Review Before Publishing

Every claim and every update is reviewed by a person before it appears, and Rehab Help may decline, shorten or remove anything that breaks these terms or that it can't confirm. A listing gets a dedicated page once its claim is confirmed and an approved update includes a description of at least 150 words plus at least one of: three photos, opening hours, a team section or a program description.

Permission to Publish

You keep ownership of what you submit. You give Rupe Enterprises LLC a free, non-exclusive, worldwide license to publish, display, resize and format it on rehab.help and in search results and previews of the site for as long as the listing is claimed, and you confirm you have the right to grant that license.

Never Paid, No Referral Fees

Claiming a listing is free, and Rehab Help never sells featured, sponsored or higher placement to treatment facilities. It takes no payment for referrals, calls or admissions, which federal law (the Eliminating Kickbacks in Recovery Act, 18 U.S.C. 220) and state patient-brokering laws prohibit. A claimed listing isn't ranked above any other, and listings on city pages stay in alphabetical order. The advertising disclosure explains how the site is funded.

Your Information

The name, role, work email and phone number you give are used only to confirm your claim, to send you sign-in links and review decisions and to keep a record of changes to the listing. They are never shown on the site or sold. The privacy policy explains more.

Removal

You may ask through the contact form for your additions to be removed, and the listing returns to SAMHSA's information on its city page. Rehab Help may remove a dedicated page or end a claim at any time, including when the facility closes or leaves SAMHSA's directory.

Rehab Help is an independent guide, not a treatment provider. Phone numbers on this site are the facilities' and helplines' own numbers, never tracking lines. If someone is in danger right now, call 911.
