For Facilities

Claim Your Treatment Facility's Listing

How Do You Claim a Listing on Rehab Help?

Find your facility on its city page and choose "Claim this listing." Verify that you work there, by email code or by phone, and once your claim is confirmed you can add a description, photos, video, hours and programs. After a review, your facility gets its own page. It's free: Rehab Help lists 11,833 SAMHSA-listed substance use treatment facilities in 4,180 cities, never sells placement and takes no referral fees.

What a Claimed Listing Gets

  • A dedicated page at your listing's own address, with your description, photos, video, hours, programs and team alongside SAMHSA's record of your services.
  • A "Claimed" badge and a link to that page from your listing on your city's page.
  • Your own words. People comparing programs see how you work and who you serve, not just a list of services.
  • Updates when you need them. Sign in any time with your work email to change hours, photos or programs.

How to Claim Your Listing

  1. Find your facility with the treatment finder or on your state and city page, then choose "Claim this listing" under it.
  2. Enter your name, role, work email and phone. If your email matches your facility's website domain, enter the code we send you.
  3. We confirm the claim, by your email code or by calling the facility's listed number, and send you a sign-in link.
  4. Add your description, photos, video and details in the listing editor and submit them for review.
  5. Once approved, your dedicated page goes live and search engines are told about it.

Never Paid, Never Ranked by Payment

People use this site to find addiction treatment, often in a hard moment, so the listings have to be trustworthy. No facility can pay to be listed, featured or moved up, now or later, and Rehab Help takes no fee when someone calls a facility or enters a program. The phone number on every listing stays the facility's own number. Every claim and every update is checked by a person before it appears, SAMHSA's information stays on every listing exactly as SAMHSA publishes it, and what a facility adds is marked as provided by the facility. The listing terms set out what can and can't be added.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Claiming a Listing Free?

Yes. Claiming your listing, adding to it and getting a dedicated page cost nothing, now and later. Rehab Help is paid for by display ads, never by treatment facilities. It doesn't sell featured or sponsored placement and takes no referral fees, which federal law (the Eliminating Kickbacks in Recovery Act) and state patient-brokering laws prohibit.

Who Can Claim a Listing?

Someone who works for the facility and may speak for it: an owner, director, clinical director, marketing lead or office staff with permission. If your work email uses the same domain as the facility's website, you can verify it with a code by email. Otherwise we confirm by calling the facility's listed phone number.

What Can I Add to My Listing?

A description of your programs and approach (at least 150 words), opening and admissions hours, programs and specialties, your clinical team, insurance and payment notes, languages, up to 10 photos and up to 3 YouTube or Vimeo videos.

When Does My Listing Get Its Own Page?

Once your claim is confirmed and your first update is reviewed. A dedicated page needs a description of 150 words or more plus at least one of: three photos, opening hours, a team section or a program description. Until then your listing stays on your city's page.

Does a Claimed Listing Rank Higher?

No. Listings on city pages stay in alphabetical order, and the finder sorts by distance. A claimed listing gets a badge and a link to its own page, nothing more.

Can I Change SAMHSA's Information About My Facility?

Not here. The services, payment options, medication treatment and licensing shown come from SAMHSA's FindTreatment.gov and stay as SAMHSA publishes them. To change them, contact SAMHSA's Behavioral Health Services Information System at 1-833-888-1553. What you add appears alongside, marked as provided by your facility.

What Isn't Allowed?

Success, sobriety, recovery or cure rates; testimonials or patient stories; guarantees; claims to be the best or number one; offers of free travel or other inducements to enter treatment; and links in your text. Every update is reviewed before it goes live, and the listing terms set out the full rules.

Rehab Help is an independent guide, not a treatment provider. Phone numbers on this site are the facilities' and helplines' own numbers, never tracking lines. If someone is in danger right now, call 911.
